2008 MMFF Awards Winners: "Well, there you go, as i have earlier said, Baler is one worthwhile film to see among the entries to the 34th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in the 2008 MMFF Awards Night held Saturday evening at the Sofitel Hotel, it manage to garner ten awards. It won for Anne Curtis her first acting award"
